Join the Team at Wickes as a Service Centre Coordinator!

Are you a proactive problem-solver with a passion for delivering top-tier customer service? Wickes is looking for a Service Centre Coordinator to help us "do it right" for our customers.

The Role

As a Service Centre Coordinator, you will be at the heart of our installation service, ensuring every customer and installer journey is a success. You’ll act as a vital link between internal teams, external customers, third-party suppliers, and our distribution network.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Effective Communication: Keeping all stakeholders informed throughout the order and installation process.
  • Action Planning: Allocating corrective action requests promptly to meet targets and providing expert advice for work completion.
  • Operational Excellence: Coordinating with submitters to ensure stock is delivered on time and managing any replacement items as needed.
  • Detailed Tracking: Maintaining accurate records in our central database (FSM) and reporting on progress to management.
  • Problem Resolution: Resolving payment queries and minimizing delays by working collaboratively with colleagues to meet completion dates.
  • Continuous Improvement: Attending regular review meetings to help refine our processes and enhance the service we provide.

Who We’re Looking For:
  • Experience: You have worked in the services sector or a similar high-quality customer service role within the last 18 months.
  • Skills: You possess strong literacy and numeracy skills, excellent organisation, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Tech-Savvy: You are comfortable working with multiple IT systems; experience with Google platforms (Sheets, Docs) and basic Excel reporting is a plus.
  • Mindset: You take ownership of your work, use your initiative to solve problems, and bring a positive, "can-do" attitude to the team.
  • Values: You are reliable, respectful, and eager to learn and improve every day.
What can we offer you?

You’ll be supported with fantastic learning and development and have the opportunity to grow and develop your career with us.
We’ll also equip you with a benefits package that includes:
  • Competitive bonus
  • Save-as-you-earn scheme
  • Private Medical and Life Assurance
  • Enhanced contributory pension scheme
  • Colleague discount
  • Discount platform including savings and cash back at numerous retailers, savings on gym membership, cycle to work scheme
Our widely recognised wellbeing strategy is something we’re proud of at Wickes. As part of this, we offer a range of health and wellbeing benefits and support, including an Employee Assistance Programme, financial education & loans, and access to parental, menopause and fertility support.

By giving you the support you need to do well at work, and the flexibility to make life work for you. We are giving you a career that doesn’t put your life on hold. Where you can be yourself, do your best work, and make a positive difference every day.
