- Financial Control & Reporting: Complete the monthly close process, including posting journals, investigating issues, reconciling the P&L and balance sheet accounts, and capitalising completed projects.
- Performance Analysis: Prepare insightful summaries of period and YTD performance for management accounts and monthly updates to the Head of Products.
- Business Partnering: Proactively engage with the IT team to support budgeting and forecasting processes for all opex and capex costs.
- Investment Support: Work closely with stakeholders to understand IT investment business cases and ensure the correct financial treatment of all associated costs.
- Ad Hoc Challenge: Conduct ad hoc analysis on IT BAU and Project expenditure, allowing the Finance team to appropriately challenge the business.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships across the business to drive a wider understanding of how IT integrates and impacts overall business performance.
- Qualifications: Part-Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) and A-Level qualifications in science or mathematics-based subjects.
- Skills: Strong data analysis and proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets. Must be hard-working, detail-oriented, a fast learner, enthusiastic, inquisitive, and proactive, with strong communication skills.
- Well-organised, flexible, and capable of providing drive and passion to the role while thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience: 1-2 years of proven Finance Analyst experience.
- Qualifications: Degree-level qualification in science or mathematics-based subjects.
- Skills: Demonstrated ability to draw actionable conclusions and insight from complex data analysis.
