- Management accounting for Marketing costs, including accruals & prepayments, budgeting, variance analysis and commentary.
- Full ownership of the balance sheet reconciliations at month-end.
- Supporting the finance business partnering function for our Marketing department.
- Risk and opportunities tracking for Marketing costs. Proactively looking forward to identify and manage financial risks and opportunities.
- Management accounting for gift cards, including posting of month-end journals and full ownership of the balance sheet reconciliations at month-end.
- Reporting - ensuring the accuracy of reports and provide data to the Marketing department.
- Full ownership of Marketing area of the P&L, including oversight of the Marketing PO log.
- Cross functional working with the FP&A team and other areas of Commercial finance to support the efficient working of the finance function.
- The ideal candidate will be part way through the CIMA/ACCA qualification and looking to complete their professional studies.
- Keen to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Strong excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to draw conclusions and insight from data analysis.
- Some understanding of analysis tools.
- Good time management and ability to communicate at all levels.
- Well organised with the ability to prioritise work.
