Are you an organised, detail-oriented individual looking for a key role in a fast-paced environment? Do you have experience in administration, data entry, or stock management and want to play a vital part in keeping a major supply chain moving?

This role will give a self-motivated and proactive individual the opportunity to support core operations at our Wickes Stores Distribution Centre. As a Didos Admin Clerk, you will be essential to ensuring the smooth flow of stock and supplier transactions. Working collaboratively across multiple departments from the warehouse floor to accounts payable and external suppliers, you will manage goods-in paperwork, process invoices, and resolve transactional discrepancies.

Wickes is a forward-thinking and supportive business. While full training on our systems will be provided, we are looking for a reliable team player with a "can-do" attitude who can balance high standards of accuracy with a busy workload

What you’ll be doing:
  • Invoice & Credit Processing: Match invoices and credits efficiently to support DSV, SDC, and MCFC operations.
  • Goods-In Documentation: Check, correct, and maintain essential goods-in paperwork to ensure complete operational compliance.
  • Discrepancy & Error Resolution: Identify and resolve booking errors in supplier transactions, and proactively raise discrepancy notes to keep our stock records 100% accurate.
  • Supplier Returns: Oversee and process supplier returns, ensuring a timely and seamless resolution.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Liaise daily with warehouse teams, PI, QC, DSV, customer services, commercial teams, accounts payable, and external suppliers to keep logistics moving smoothly.
  • General Administration & Compliance: Complete general administrative tasks while keeping a sharp eye on standard health and safety requirements in the distribution environment.
What we’re looking for:
  • Experience & Skills: You bring solid experience in administration, data entry, or stock management. Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or retail supply chain environment is a definite plus.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to enter data accurately and spot discrepancies easily.
  • Tech Savvy: Strong basic IT skills, including experience using Google applications or standard ERP systems.
  • Team Player & Communicator: Great teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate professionally with both internal departments and external suppliers.
  • Attributes: A self-motivated, adaptable individual who can use their own initiative, manage changing priorities, and who is eager to learn and develop within the role.

What's in it for you?
We’re a team. And teams work best together when they know and respect one another. Listen and learn from one another. Giving you the support you need to do well at work, and the flexibility to make life work for you.

We’ll also equip you with a competitive benefits package that includes:
  • 25 Days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Enhanced contributory Pension and Life Assurance
  • Save-as-you-earn scheme
  • Colleague discount
  • Discount platform including savings and cash back at numerous retailers, savings on gym membership, cycle to work scheme
