We’re looking for a Data Analyst & Administrator to join our Responsible Sourcing and Quality (RSQ) team! This is a newly created role to support the Responsible Sourcing Managers and Commercial Team on the performance of products and suppliers in the areas of; sales and refunds, profit loss and remedial costs. You’ll support all RSQ process key performance indicators in areas such as ethical audit compliance, risk assessment  and regulatory compliance


What you’ll be doing:

Support with supplier evaluations and approvals using the supplier online risk assessment tool data to highlight risks ensure all unsatisfactory results are effectively dealt with and appropriate mitigation taken, keeping key stakeholders regularly informed.

Build and maintain data repository systems for easy access and detailed reporting, inc product drawings and specifications.

Interrogate data sources and present extracts in a format that can be easily understood to highlight risk and loss.  

Maintain reports, records and technical documentation in order to support supplier understanding and compliance.

Investigate and report on technical queries and quality concerns in relation to product returns, critical product failures and customer complaints identifying; remedial actions, product changes and associated cost implications. Ensure any resulting actions are completed to a satisfactory level within agreed timescales and costs recovered where applicable.

Ensure the Head of Responsible Sourcing and RSQM is informed immediately where it is identified that a supplier has failed to adhere to agreed requirements/specification resulting in an unacceptable level of risk to the Wickes brand or exposure to the overall business.

Support with investigation and data interpretation from any area of the business in order to identify areas for improvement.

Manage and interpret category refund data liaising with both internal and external stakeholder 


What we’re looking for:

In-depth knowledge of reporting systems & business improvement process

In-depth & detailed knowledge IT systems, spreadsheets, data interrogation and analytics. 

Resilience in following through business critical issues and overcoming obstacles

Persuasive approach to problem solving at all levels

Good interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to a broad spectrum of individuals.

Well organised, with the ability to plan workload to achieve deadlines.

Excellent numeracy skills and conversant in Google and Microsoft platforms,

Full UK drivers licence

Self driven ability to work independently as well as part of a team

AI curious and able to develop the use of Gemini
